Broad minds. Bold careers.

The future belongs to those who can imagine what’s possible and have the knowledge and foundation to make it real. The College of Arts & Sciences Career Hub will ensure that career preparation is woven into that experience from the very beginning,  connecting the power of the liberal arts with the experiences and opportunities that help our graduates turn what they learn into what they can do.”

— Karl Voss, Douglas K. Candland Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences

The liberal arts prepare students for any career. The College of Arts & Sciences Career Hub makes sure they find the breadth of possibilities.

Families want proof that a Bucknell degree delivers, and career preparation cannot wait until junior year. Housed in a renovated corner of Coleman Hall near Bertrand Library, at the academic heart of campus, the hub gives students in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and arts early, industry-specific guidance, access to micro-internships, and direct connections to alumni and employers. Career preparation begins the moment a student accepts admission and continues through graduation and beyond.

The goal: 100% of graduates in meaningful careers or graduate school within six months of graduation.

Every student. Every stage.

From day one: Career coaching begins at admission, helping students connect what they love to study with where it can lead.

Along the way: Two dedicated CCA Liaisons and specialized Career Accelerators guide students through exploration, micro-internships, internships, conferences and competitions, while alumni and employers open doors across every industry.

At launch: Pre-law and pre-med advisers serve as dedicated accelerators for graduate and professional school applications, and a growing employer network carries every graduate into a first role.

Arts & Sciences graduates launch ready for anything, pairing the breadth of the liberal arts with real-world experience and a network that opens doors.
