College of Engineering Career Hub
Enhancing career support for the engineers who will solve the challenges of tomorrow.
Bucknell engineers are preparing to solve the challenges of tomorrow. Our Career Hub will connect that preparation to the industries, people, experiences and opportunities that turn ideas into impact — helping every engineering student launch with purpose, confidence and the skills to shape what’s next.”
— Brad Putman, Richard E. Garman Dean of the College of Engineering
Bucknell engineers learn to solve hard problems. The College of Engineering Career Hub ensures they get where they can make an impact.
Families want proof that a Bucknell engineering degree delivers, and career preparation cannot wait until junior year. Embedded within the College of Engineering, the College of Engineering Career Hub places career coaching, interview preparation, professional certifications and corporate partners steps from the labs and classrooms where engineers learn. Career preparation will begin the moment a student accepts admission and continues through graduation and beyond.
The goal: 100% of engineering graduates in meaningful careers or graduate school within six months of graduation.
Every student. Every stage.
From day one: Engineering-specific career coaches and a dedicated Student Success Coach meet students at admission, helping first-year engineers explore fields, build skills and map the path ahead.
Along the way: Two Career Accelerators and a Corporate Partner Manager connect students to a formal co-op and internship program. Students connect with alumni through the on-campus EC4 conference and career treks to New York, Detroit and Boston.
At launch: The FE/PE & Professional Licensing Fund covers Fundamentals of Engineering exam costs, Principles and Practice of Engineering exam preparation and Six Sigma certification, so every graduate enters the workforce credentialed and ready to lead.
Bucknell engineers launch workforce-ready, pairing rigorous academics with industry credentials, real-world experience and a network that opens doors.
