Freeman College of Management Career Hub
From classroom to boardroom, accelerating professional ambition.
The Freeman Career Hub will turn ambition into action, connecting every student with exceptional mentors, meaningful experiences and the pathways that prepare them to lead with confidence.”
— Michelle Roehm, Kenneth W. Freeman Professor & Dean of the Freeman College of Management
Freeman students arrive at Bucknell ready to work. The Freeman Career Hub makes sure they never wait for a start. Career preparation begins the moment a student accepts admission and continues through graduation and beyond. Built by Freeman College of Management for its students in partnership with the Center for Career Advancement and housed in the heart of the new Holmes Hall expansion, the Hub puts coaching, programs and employer connections steps from the classroom. Every management student gets a dedicated coach, a clear path and the experiences that turn ambition into a career.
The goal: Every Freeman student completes an internship by the end of the junior year. Every graduate is employed or in graduate school within three months.
Every student. Every stage.
From day one: Backpack to Briefcase, a for-credit course series, builds professional habits and workplace readiness before the first interview.
Along the way: Career Accelerators know each student’s goals and keep them on track, from resumes and interviews to networking and negotiation. Micro-internships, case competitions and industry treks put those skills to work.
At launch: Industry credentials like the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, alumni and employer connections, Wall Street Prep training, and a summer bridge program after graduation carry every student into a first role.
The result: graduates who pair rigorous academics with industry credentials, practical training and real-world experience, ready to contribute on day one.
